Mounts at Dewclaw

As we enter a new year and hunker down for winter, a bit of reflection seems in order. I'll be showing paintings from my Mounts series, which were originally shown at Four Star Gallery, Indianapolis. Works from this series were featured in the 83rd New American Paintings, and they have been exhibited individually in several places. I look forward to showing these again as a group, in the intimate atmosphere of Dewclaw.

Nuvo Review of Dewclaw

Here's a review of the show by Nuvo's Dan Grossman. Dan summarized the Dewclaw metaphor, and its relation to these works in particular, very well. I like that he proposed theories about the imagery, without trying to solve their mystery.
